The Islamic Republic's Security Forces, gunned down the car which also injured Kian's father. After nearly four months in the hospital and multiple surgeries, he found out about his son's death.
A video of Kian, showing his latest invention of a boat, which starts by him saying, "In the Name of The God of The Rainbows", went viral. It became a new revolutionary slogan for the Woman Life Freedom movement and sparked further protests that led to the burning down of Ayatollah Khomeini's childhood home/museum.
